Overview
Softdrive v4.10.0 introduces improvements to authentication, diagnostics, multi-monitor troubleshooting, and Okta integration, along with fixes for printing, mouse cursor behavior, and Apple codec compatibility.
New Features
- Connection diagnostics - Refreshed computer error panels and added a visual diagnostic report for connection failures.
- Okta tile support - Launch Softdrive directly from an Okta application tile.
- Remote printing - Added various printing format including 11×17 paper size.
- Unified SSO flow - Microsoft sign-in now displays an email form like Cognito and Okta. SSO sessions are also remembered.
- Release confirmation - Releasing a computer now requires confirmation to help prevent accidental releases.
- Password management - Password changes now link to Softnet instead of being handled in the launcher.
- Overlay menu controls - Added the exit shortcut label and corrected clipped Exit and Minimize options.
Bug Fixes
- OpenRoads ConceptStation mouse click — Drawing areas and roads now respond to mouse clicks.
- Cursor visibility — Corrected missing, fuzzy, or partially rendered cursors in Office apps.
- Camera troubleshooting — Prevented false camera failure errors when troubleshooting during an active call.
- Video startup quality — Prevented encoding from starting at near-lossless quality before flow control adjusts.
- Session stability — Reduced unexpected session crashes.
